Solicitor Catherine Wong

Catherine graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Science. Catherine obtained a Diploma of Graduate Practical Legal Training from The College of Law and is admitted as a legal practitioner in the Supreme Court of Western Australia. Catherine is a member of the Family Law Practitioner’s Association. Prior to joining Beacon Family Law in May 2017, Catherine worked as a lawyer in a boutique law firm and handled various family law matters, including children’s and property matters, divorce, court representation, consent orders and child support matters. Catherine is able to provide advice in relation to complex family law matters and offer practical solutions. Catherine also has experience in restraining orders and wills and estates matters. Catherine speaks fluent Cantonese and Mandarin and is a member of the Asian Australian Law Association.

Junior Solicitor Kylie Aquilina

Kylie graduated from Macquarie University with a double degree in Law and Economics following which she qualified as a Chartered Accountant whilst practising taxation law in Sydney, NSW.  Kylie practised as a taxation lawyer for KPMG and Ernst & Young in Sydney for 6 years before transferring to the Perth office of Ernst &Young in 2002.  In 2005 Kylie pursued a long-held interest in family law taking a role as a solicitor at a community legal centre specialising in family law and domestic violence to build her exposure and experience in family law.  Following a career break to have children, Kylie is looking forward to combining her experience in both family law and business to provide clients with a broad understanding of the issues that may arise in both property and children matters.
